Guesty cleaning schedule: when to add Readyby

Guesty is built for property managers at scale, and cleaning is part of that. So the honest answer to "how do I build a Guesty cleaning schedule?" often starts inside Guesty itself. Readyby is for the teams where that isn't enough: cleaners who work from WhatsApp, who don't speak the local language, and owners who want a photo report after every stay.
To be clear: Readyby has no direct Guesty integration today and no partnership with Guesty. Readyby reads the iCal export link Guesty provides for each listing. A direct Guesty connection is on our roadmap.
What Guesty already does for cleaning
Guesty's help centre describes a cleaning workflow built into the product. You add cleaners as users and give them a role. A listing can be set to "Dirty" automatically, and cleaners see that status in the multi-calendar. Automated messages can tell a cleaner a property is ready to clean and notify a team member when the cleaning is done. Guesty also has reservation-triggered tasks, and its marketplace lists third-party cleaning tools. Guesty For Hosts, the lighter product, has a cleaner portal where teammates send photos and status updates without an app.
If your cleaners already work inside Guesty, stay there.
Where Readyby still helps
- Cleaners who won't use another system. The AI coordinator works in WhatsApp: it sends the plan, asks for confirmation and reminds.
- Mixed-language teams. Each cleaner gets messages in her own language, and her replies are translated back to you.
- A checklist with required photos, opened from a link on any phone.
- Changes passed on. When a checkout moves, the cleaning moves and the cleaner is told.
- Owner reports with photos and incidents, plus monthly CSV exports for payroll and accounting.
How to export the iCal link from Guesty
In Guesty, open the listing and look for the calendar sync (iCal) section, then the option to export the Guesty calendar. Guesty generates a link you can copy. In Guesty's current help articles this sits under the listing's calendar settings in Operations mode; in Guesty For Hosts it's an "Export iCal" action on the listing. Labels vary between accounts, so if you can't find it, search the Guesty help centre for "export iCal".
The export includes current and future reservations and some blocks. Guesty lets you delete an export link later if you need to cut access. Treat the link as private.
Setting up the Guesty cleaning schedule in Readyby
- One link per listing. Readyby checks each link every few minutes.
- Only the Guesty link. Guesty already pulls in Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, so its export covers them. Don't add each channel's link on top. Readyby won't create two cleanings for one stay, but a single source is easier to check.
- Times and duration. If the feed carries times, Readyby uses them; otherwise it uses the default check-out and check-in times you set per apartment. Add the cleaning duration so tight turnovers are flagged.
- Cleaners. Add name, WhatsApp number and language. Each confirms in WhatsApp before getting plans.
- Check the first week before switching on automatic sending.
If you hand cleanings to Readyby, switch off Guesty's cleaning messages or tasks for those listings so cleaners get one set of instructions.
What iCal can't carry
The link is read-only from Readyby's side. Readyby doesn't change the listing's status in Guesty, so a finished cleaning won't flip "Dirty" to "Clean" there. Feeds rarely include guest counts or notes. Readyby keeps only dates, guest count and booking source, never guest names or contacts. iCal is also not instant: a change reaches Readyby once Guesty's feed reflects it and Readyby's next check runs. For same-day surprises, a direct message still wins.
Languages and channels today
The coordinator works on WhatsApp. Cleaners can use it in Ukrainian, Polish, Russian or English now, with more languages coming. Viber and SMS are not available yet; see the FAQ.
In short
Guesty runs reservations, channels and guest communication. Readyby reads each listing's iCal link and runs the cleaner side in WhatsApp, with checklists, photos and owner reports. The integrations page shows what connects today, and Airbnb iCal and your cleaning schedule explains iCal-based scheduling.
